This time in Skåne, Sweden.
Where memories will be made faster than IKEA furniture.
Nestled near the coastal village of Glumslöv, the Maryhill Estate is located between Landskrona and Helsingborg. Formerly known as the Örenäs Castle, built in 1918, the estate has been beautifully renovated in 2024 and now features heated pools, tennis and padel courts, and historic walking trails. Unwind at one of eight bars, as well as enjoy a meal at one of two restaurants.
Our rooms will be located in the newly opened Sugar Club; its name a nod to the former owner’s legacy as a sugar merchant.

The Öresund Train or “ÖresundTåg” is one of the easiest ways to get to LANDSKRONA (approximately 55 minutes), then 15 minutes by car or taxi to the Maryhill Estate.
Entering the Arrivals Hall after customs, proceed straight and follow the signs for TRAINS/TÅG/TOG. You will see the wall of red ticket machines for Denmark.
The tickets to Sweden will be on your LEFT. (There is a small Swedish flag mounted on top of the machine.)
I highly recommend the app Skånetrafiken for purchasing tickets. It will give you train schedules and any traffic updates. Check your app store of choice to download.

Duo/Family discount (2+ travelers): ~25% off when booked in the app or on the machine (no relation needed)
If purchased via app: Remember to “ACTIVATE YOUR TICKET” before you board the actual train, as it is valid for 180 minutes after activation.
Please note that tickets cannot be purchased on the train, and a penalty applies.
TRACK 1 ("All trains to Sweden”)
All trains with stops in LANDSKRONA can be boarded here via the Öresundståg Line. Monitors can be found to the left of the entrance, showing the current schedule.

CAR RENTAL:
You can rent a car from either Copenhagen Airport in Denmark or from the Malmö Train Station in Sweden.
If renting from Copenhagen, please note:
Øresund Bridge toll: DKK 450 / €60 each way (in some cases, can be reduced to ~DKK 350 with rental agency token)
Cross-border fee: DKK 200–500 to drive a Danish-registered car into Sweden, and you must inform the agency if entering Sweden for car assistance purposes.
If renting from Malmö, Sweden:
Take the train via the Öresund Bridge to Malmö Central Station.
There are several rental car agencies within a short walking distance of the station.
Sixt.se at Malmö Central. This is the closest agency and is located at the station itself. It can be reached by elevator from the train platform located at the end of the platform to your right.
Avis.se (Malmö Central) short walk from the station.
Hertz.se (Malmö) short walk from the station.
